Preheat oven to 350.
Boil 4 sweet potatoes. Beat together with -
3/4 cup white sugar 2 eggs 1/2 cup butter @ room temperature 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup milk.
Beat together well and pour into a buttered casserole.
Make topping:
1 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup flour 1/4 cup cold butter 1 cup chopped pecans
Mix together till crumbly - sprinkle on top of casserole.
Bake for 45 minutes - enjoy!!
Note: this is not a traditional souffle This is also an excellent make ahead dish - i usually prepare it the night before Thanksgiving, cover and bake the next day
