I have the best chili recipe, but, (shhhhh--I use a dry mix; and I live in Texas!) But it beats all the chilis I have tasted. It take a good two hours-but its well worth it!!

2 lbs ground round or ground turkey breast
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans
1 onion, chopped
1 pablano pepper, chopped
2-4 japs. chopped
1 pkg. Frenches "Chili-O" mix (Only this mix is good!!!)
garlic salt, red pepper, pepper, tabasco

Brown Ground meat, drain and rinse with water. Return meat to pan and add onions and peppers. Brown 1-2 mins. longer. Stir in "French's Chili-O mix" and mix well. Add tomatoes, beans, and rinse the cans with water and add to chili. Simmer for a good hour. Add seasonings and taste. Adjust as necessary. Great with tortillas.
