How about a cold sub sandwich? I just made this last week---my daughter got married over the weekend and I made these for everybody who helped get the church ready. Just take two unsliced loaves of Italian bread, cut them in half lenghtwise, and spread them with a mixture of cream cheese (8 oz.), shredded cheddar (4 to 8 oz), 1 chopped onion, 1/4 cup mayo, and 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce. Then layer each loaf with 1/2 pound of deli baked ham, 1/2 pound deli roast beef, and 6 to 8 slices of bread and butter pickles. Put the halves together and wrap them in plastic wrap, put them in the fridge for a couple of hours, and serve them sliced up. Everybody liked them---my son put some jalapeno peppers on his to spice them up. I served them with chips, marinated cucumbers and onions, and oatmeal cookies. Hope this helps!
