Hi well Rhonda I did a recipe just to post here and burned it!! oh well we had frozen chicken taquitos in the frezer. Dessert however was a smashing success and sooooo easy! Cherry puff tarts (my concoction)
I took puff pastry and cut into 8 squares, placed 2 tlb. cherry pie filling on the middle and brought up sides to pinch in center. (now you can see the pie filling at the sides I just pinched the tops. Plopped these on a baking sheet and sprinkled with suger baked in hot oven till golden.
In the meantime I whipped up some whipped cream & sugar, litterally with hand mixer added to it a little (tsp) non dairy dry coffee creamer with Ameretto flavor, I used oh 1/3 of the pint of whipping cream and maybe 2 tlb. sugar if you want propotions.
Topped each hot cherry tart with it YUMMMM! makes 8 enjoy ... page<
