Mine isn't quite as sweet as some people like it.

I mix 1 cup of sugar and 3 family-sized tea bags in water & put it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Then I take it out and let it sit about 15-30 minutes. I pour it into a gallon pitcher & fill it with water. A gallon of tea only lasts my family about 1 day -- if I'm lucky.

  5 I use Tetley decaf tea(8 small bags or 2 large) and a tea making machine, with 1 cup sugar for 2 quarts of tea. I'm southern too, and spent the last 6 years in good ole 'bama. They do have the best sweet tea there!!!! nt
