Tortilla Casserole

3/4 lb. ground beef
1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 4.5 oz. can diced green chilies
1 pkg. taco seasoning, low sodium if desired
1 can kidney beans, drained & rinsed
6 corn tortillas
1 cup sour cream, lowfat if desired
3 oz. cheddar cheese, shreddedBrown beef in skillet. Drain. Add diced tomatoes, green chilies, taco seasoning & kidney beans. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cut tortillas in half. Place 6 tortilla halves into 2 qt. casserole. Top with half of the beef mixture. Top with sour cream and half the cheddar cheese. Top with remaining tortillas. Remaining beef mixture and cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
