Well, I think your Spanish is very good.

If you have lived at the Dominican Republic, you know how wonderful and versatile their cooking is. All those different kinds of Sancochos, those enchilados, those Escabeches, and the Mangú, with a wonderful sauce prepared with onions and slices of Salchichón El Campesino. To visit Santo Domingo is to visit an island so close to paradise...I have been looking forward to repeat my visits to El Portillo, not far from Samaná.

Carolyn, it is such a pleasure to meet you. Say hello to your husband and family.

Thanks for wishing me well for Saturday. I am so excited to share an evening with people who were so close to me during school years. Surprisingly, most of the girls of my generation had exceeded in the Law, as much or more than the gentlemen. It was such a hallenge at that time, to enter a career dominated by men.

Share with us some recipes from Santo Domingo, I am sure they will be enjoyed.

Tu amiga
