Sharing with friends in our homes was a tradition followed by my mom and by my father's parents. We como from the southern part of the island and in my generation it was not proper for decent girls to visit public places like night clubs or cafés for entertainment. Our homes were always open for visit s of family, friends and any other person whom we thought deserved our confidence and consideration. Times have changed so much but customs like the one mentioned are deeply ingrained in our character. Therefore, my home is my castle, and it is the best place for me to show consideration and love for friends. I live alone, and I cherish everymoment of good companionship and camaraderie. Cooking is my best expression of my feelings!
