the names of the novels. I like to read "fluff." When I come home, after being with 200 or mor children each day, it's hard for me to concentrate on "heavy issues." I have a friend, who teaches history at our school, who LOVES political novels, biographies, etc. I went to her house yesterday after I had gone to the beauty shop. I walked away with two books that she told me that "I just had to read." I have a "book buddy" who always gets the books that Oprah recommends. After she finishes reading them, she passes them on to me. She also loves to read "fluff" so she buys some light-hearted reading material, too. Some of Oprah's books are just (I guess) too deep for me.
I've been staying away from the computer at night because Kristin is taking an interactive math course. Seh has to use the computer, so mom does without. Of course, since our computer "crashed" at school, it's hard for me to come and sit in front of the computer. I feel as though I have been chained to one since the accident happened.
I am going to make the Chicken Cobbler YaYa tonight. I am substituting turkey for the chicken. I'll let you know how it turns out.
I am so envious of you finding fresh strawberries that you can pick. A flat of strawberries, at our local strawberry field, costs $20.00!
Have a great Friday and think of me when you eat that delicious strawberry shortcake that you posted!
See you soon in the chat room!
