This is easy and tastes great.
3-4 pound rump or pot roast 2-3 potatoes pared and quartered 2-3 carrots pared and cut up 1-2 onions peeled and quartered 1/2 c water or beef consomme salt and pepper to taste Put vegetables in bottom of crock pot. Salt and pepper meat, then put in pot. Add liquid. Cover and cook on Low for 10-12 hours or High for 4-5 hours
