Hi Everyone! Last Thursday, our local newspaper printed the 72nd Street Market Meat Loaf recipe in the Food Section. I cut it out and vowed to make it as I had previously seen it in the cookbook review section at TKL. [Editor's Note: 72 Market Street Meat Loaf with Meat Loaf Gravy Recipe from 72 Market St. Dishes It Out] There are no words to describe this most delicious, and moist meatloaf. First, let me start off by saying that all the preparation and ingredients that go into this meatloaf are well worth it...the aroma superb. I found it lots of fun with my Mom in the kitchen as we reminisced about times past. We enjoyed it with Garlic Mashed Potatoes made with Yukon potatoes, Glazed Carrots and a delicious Garlic Bread w/Feta Cheese. In a posting by Jim C. on the Dinner Board, he states that a Sourdough Bread is split open and spread with margerine, garlic and bleu cheese. This is some sort of cheesebread served in the San Fransisco area...it sounded too good to me. The only thing is I couldn't find any sourdough or bleu cheese so I made it with Italian bread. Here's the recipe, it was divine! I am still going to try it Jim's way as he says the taste is amazing. Garlic Bread with Feta 1 loaf Italian bread, split open 1 stick of butter, softened 3 garlic cloves, crushed 4 oz. feta cheese, crumbled 1 t. oregano 1 t. basil Mix the butter with the garlic and blend well. Blend in feta and seasonings and spread on bread. Bake in oven at 350 for about 15 minutes till bubbly. The recipe for the meatloaf can be found in the food section of the Tampa Tribune. It was a fabulous meal! And, DH said it was a most definite keeper!!
