We often eat "out" with friends in the Summer. When word gets out that I have made this pie, everyone ends up back at our home for dessert.
Malted Milk Ice Cream Pie Makes 2 pies
Crust: crush in a blender: 20 chocolate cream-filled cookies (Oreos) (for 1-1/2 cups crumbs) Combine crumbs with: 1/4 cup melted butter Press into 9-inch pie plate and refrigerate while preparing filling.
Filling: In a blender finely crush: 1-1/2 bags (15 oz. each) chocolate covered malted milk balls 1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips combine with: almost 1 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened Mix the chocolate mixture evenly throughout the ice cream.
Heap into the 2 prepared chocolate pie crusts. Place into freezer until the ice cream has firmed back up-at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Top with whipped cream and a cherry before serving.
So easy, So-ooo good!
