Recipe(tried): inventor of Beanie-Weenie

my youngest son (now 19) actually thought for many years that HE invented Beanie-Weenie! Was he ever amazed to see the canned stuff broght to a Scout overnight once. When they were little guys I usually served the weenies in buns & the beans on the side, but when he was about 4 Shaun wanted his beans & weenies mixed up together (he wasn't much on buns then). So we let him name his "new" dish....voila! Beanie-Weenie!!! Kids are sooo funny! Cali
