posting. I know that another name for the monkfish is Pez Sapo (Frog fish) and in Spain it is called Rape. It was Known previously as poor man lobster but now it is almost as expensive as the lobster and definitely, more expensive than shrimps. I am glad you liked my sauces. They are developed from recipes (old ones) by Elizabeth Lambert Ortiz and Penelope Casas. I always add tropical touches, my personal preferences and what experience had taught me.

Oh my, a vacation in Cape Cod. What a wonderful treat. Those different sauces can be used with any white fish as for example halibut, hake or also with chicken breasts. The pine nuts and the raisins are product of our Arab influence. Thanks for liking them dear June. I hope that you will have the opportunity to taste them with monkfish. You will be hooked for life.
