Here is a recipe for an easy to make and inexpensive Beef Taco Casserole. The only hitch is that you need really thin sliced sandwich steaks. I usually use frozen Philly-style sandwich steaks since they are already sliced thin.
Preheat the oven to 375F.
Break into a skillet: 12 thin frozen sandwich steaks Cook and toss until browned but don't overcook.
Season with: 1/4 tsp. salt pepper 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Add: 1 (11 oz.) can tomato soup 1 (14 oz.) can of chili beans
Heat slowly for a few minutes.
Spread in a baking dish: 1 (10-1/2 oz.) package of corn chips
Pour the steak mixture over the chips.
Top with: 1/3 cup sliced ripe olives 1/2 cup chopped onions 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Bake in the oven until the cheese melts.
