I treated myself yesterday while I was out finishing up the Christmas shopping.

Last night I wrapped the pork butt roast with the garlic like you said to - then this morning, I put sliced onions, carrots, potatoes, bayleaf, more garlic and white wine and a little chicken stock in the bottom. I seared the roast, because I like that look and taste, as does DH. Plopped it down on the veggies, and put it on high for 4 hours while we were shopping. Got home to the most DELIGHTFUL smells coming right out onto the street! I've turned it to low for a couple more hours.

Since we have our doors and windows open here in sunny FL, people walking by are asking me "WHAT are you cooking in there!"

Thanks, Gladys - next is the Galician Stew, prob. next week before I get to it.

Love, June
