By the way, yesterday I bought two more to give as Christmas gifts to Maria Bueno (my Cuban friend) & to my beloved cousin, Rafael Batista. He enjoys cooking for his family & he is planning on cooking a 10 lb pork shoulder for Christmas. Both of them had tasted both the Galician Soup & the pork shoulder (at my home, because they are frequent visitors)& had really considered them as exceptional. I will include to both of them copy of your message so that they have the option to prepare it in a new wonderful way.
I also received (quite promptly) the
Euro Pro 7-quart Programmable Slow Cooker (the one I ordered from
Chef's Catalog) & I am planning to use it on Saturday night (for a small group of family) using a 12 lb. turkey. I am quite excited because I never, if I can help it, eat turkey because it is too dry. I will let you know how it goes.
I was just laughing about what you told me of the wonderful aroma of the food. It happens just the same here. It is an effortless way to produce great dishes.
