Over the weekend, I tasted a sample of this delicious meal at our local Public grocery store. Every Wednesday they send out their flyer, which has an entire meal menu with suggested items to serve and even wine suggestions. They do this on a weekly basis. I must admit, every meal I have sampled is quite delicious!
It was scrumptious and I was surprised to find out you can make it in 30 minutes, on the skillet on top of the range and use bottled jar sauce! The salad was very, very tasty with the Gorgonzola cheese. Incredible!!
I served it with Bakery Multi-Grain bread. Just yummy, and only $1.69/loaf. I will be returning today to buy a few loaves to freeze. It is exactly like home-made bread, dense and full of grains. I served cold chunks of cantaloupe for dessert. What a delicious meal!

SKILLET LASAGNA FLORENTINE recipe courtesy of Apron's Simple Meals Publix Super Markets
1 pound lean ground beef, 7% fat 4 ounces sliced baby portabella mushrooms 1/3 cup pre-diced red onions 1/3 cup pre-diced green peppers 1 (26-ounce) Ragu Robusto jar onion and garlic pasta sauce 1 cup water 1 (9-ounce) box no-boil lasagna pasta 3 cups fresh spinach 1 3/4 cups shredded Sargento Asiago & Mozzarella cheese blend
1. Place ground beef in microwave-safe bowl with mushrooms, onions and peppers; stir to break up meat. Cover and microwave on HIGH 8 minutes, stirring once to break up meat, until mostly cooked. Stir in pasta sauce and water, mixing well. 2. Place 2 1/2 cups meat sauce in large skillet. Then build layers: 4 noodles, spread with 1 cup meat sauce, arrange 1 cup spinach leaves, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Repeat layer two more times. Add last 4 noodles; top with remaining meat sauce and sprinkle with remaining cheese. 3. Cover and cook 3–4 minutes, on medium-high heat, until sauce begins to boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer 10 minutes until pasta is tender, most of liquid is absorbed, and cheese is melted. Serve. (Makes 6 servings.)

6 cups European salad blend (3/4 bag) 1 cup grape tomatoes 1/2 cup Chatham Village Garlic & Onion seasoned croutons 1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese 1/4 cup Hidden Valley ranch salad dressing with bacon
1. Place salad blend, (rinsed) tomatoes, and croutons in salad bowl. 2. Add remaining ingredients; toss and serve.
