Hi Kathy, Thanks for asking for my recipe...I have made literally thousands of these...a very popular item. CINNAMON POUNDCAKE l box any yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix 1 small box vanilla instant pudding 1/2 c. vegetable oil l cup buttermilk 2 tsp. imitation butter flavoring 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 4 large eggs Cinnamon sugar Mix all above JUST until blended..the batter is very thick.. Grease and flour a tube pan or 10 mini-loaf pans spoon in half the batter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar (about 3-4 level tbsp) spoon on rest of batter Bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes, do not overbake..and it's okay to take it out of the oven when it's still a little moist on top, as it will continue to cook from it's own heat when taken out of oven (moister cakes!) The icing: l cup powdered sugar 2 tsp. milk 2 tsp. light corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla This icing will dry to a shiny hard finish, and is great to use with cookies too..the flavor possibilities are endless... P.S. This cake tastes better the next day...
