Another cost-saving, group pleaser is a good punch.

Here is one that children and adults both enjoy:

Put a half gallon of any flavor sherbet in punch bowl.
Pour over a can of any flavor Hi-C or other punch.
Pour in a 2-liter bottle of Sprite or 7-Up.

Scott, if you buy the disposable plastic glasses and plates, remember they DO NOT have to be used as disposable. I have many that have gone through the dishwasher many times.
