HOT SAUSAGE BREAD
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed 1 lb. skinned hot Italian sausage 1 medium onion, chopped 1 can green chilies, diced Romano cheese, grated Butter or margarine Salsa, optional
While bread dough thaws, crumble Italian sausage and cook with chopped onion. Drain grease. Add salsa to taste.
Spread bread out flat. Pour sausage mixture over bread to 1/2 inch from edges. Sprinkle with Romano cheese (at your discretion). Roll up and pinch ends to seal. Put in pie pan or bread loaf pan (greased). Brush top with butter or margarine.
Bake per directions for bread.
HOT SAUSAGE BREAD
1 pkg. Rich's frozen bread dough (2 loaves in a pkg.) 1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. sausage 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded mozarella
Allow dough to thaw and rise. (Follow directions on pkg.)
Brown ground beef and sausage. Drain. Combine meats and cheeses.
After bread has risen, flatten 1 loaf on cookie sheet. Add 1/2 of ingredients to center of loaf. Fold edges to center and pinch up into roll. Repeat steps for 2nd loaf. Place loaves on separate greased cookie sheets.
Bake 350 for 30 minutes.
Recipe makes 2 loaves
I've tasted made with cheese and pepperoni. I imagine you can be creative.
TACO BREAD
1 pkg. frozen bread 1 pkg. taco seasoning 1 lb. hamburger 1 medium tomato, diced 1 small onion, diced 1 cup Cheddar cheese OR taco flavored cheese 1 jar (8 oz.) salsa
