Battered Veggies

Combine flour cornstarch, baking powder, salt & spices (if using) and mix well, but only to combine
Heat oil to 370 degrees. Dip veggie of your choice into batter. Add to oil, a few at a time (don't crowd)
Fry untill crisp & golden, about 5 min. Remove & drain on paper-towel-lined plate. Serve immediately.
