Hi everyone, I am planning a 40th surprise party for my hubby in mid-July. I think I will have at least some of the food catered as I won't be able to make much with him around. Can anyone give me some ideas for what ttypes of foods to have. I would like to stay away from the grill so I'll have time to visit with everyone as well as keep the kids in sight. There will be between 30 and 40 people including lots of small children.

Also if anyone has any good ideas for sentimental or fun things to do in his honor.
