Here are a few recipes that I have tried and used on numerous occasions through out the years. Hopefully you will give them a try too.
Stuffed Shells 1 large box of large stuffing shells 2 cups of shredded mozarella cheese 1 15 oz. container of ricotta cheese 1 tbsp. parmensan cheese 1 egg 1 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 large jar of spagetti sauce
Cook pasta and drain. While letting pasta cool, mixture together in a large bowl the egg, cheeses, pepper and salt. Fill the shells with the cheese mixture. In a 9x13 inch pan spread 1/2 c. of sauce evenly on the botton of the pan. Lay shells on top of the sauce. Add remaining sauce over the shells. Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
Potato Stuffed Shells
1 large box of large stuffing shells 3 cups of mashed potatoes 1/4 pound velvetta cheese 1 medium onion, cut into 1/4 inch slices 1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
Cook pasta and drain. Let cool. Melt cheese in potatoes (this step can be down in the microwave). Sautee onioin slices in margarine in a hot skillet. After cheese has melted in potatoes, begin stuffing the shells. Arrange stuffed shells in 9x13 inch dish. Spoon sauted onions over the shells.
Sweet and Sour Salad 1 head of lettuce 1/2 c. of shredded swiss cheese 1/2 c. of shredded mozarella cheese 1 c. of sweet and sour salad dressing
Cut lettuce into small bite size pieces. Toss together the lettuce and cheeses. Mix in the dressing right before serving.
