Fresh fruit on bamboo skewers could work as an apetizer or dessert. Use melon, grapes, pineapple, etc. Frosted grapes are beautiful and sweet, too. Dip grapes coated w/a thin layer of confectioners sugar/water in granulated sugar.
You can even keep them on the stem and serve on top of a cake.
