O.K., here it is. I get so many compliments on this easy recipe.
I one pound box (or cut 2#in half) at room temperature 8 ounce pachage cream cheese (softened in Microwave) 1 small can of chopped green chilies
Roll velveeta with rolling pin between two sheets of waxed paper into an approximate 10 x 12 inch rectangle. Lift top sheet of waxed paper off velveeta and spread softened cream cheese all over top. Then empty can of chopped green chilies over cream cheese layer, spreading to lightly cover all. Now, start at one end and pull up waxed paper & roll cheese roll into a jelly roll (?) as you go leaving waxed paper behind. Once you start the roll & fold it under the first time it goes pretty easy. Continue rolling until it's free of paper. I trim ends some and put on a platter & spread crackers & knife around for spreading.
