Chocolate Spiders

1/4 cup butter
1 package (12 ozs) semi~sweet or milk chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
4 cups crisp rice cereal
Chow mein noodles
assorted candies

Cover baking sheet with waxed paper. Combine butter, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in large saucepan; stir over medium heat until chips are melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter; mix well. Add cereal, stir to evenly coat.

Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet; insert chow mein noodles for legs and ad candies for eyes..
Makes..3 dozen.

Doughnut Hole Spiders:
Substitue chocolate~covered doughnut holes for shaped cereal mixture. Insert black string licorice, cut into 1 1/2 inch lengths, into doughnut holes for legs. Use decorating icing to dot onto doughnut holes for eyes!!
