Hi Jenn: I understand you are looking for professional-looking cookie recipes. As a side note to your request I want to say that couple of years ago a friend and I coordinated a cookie collection for a wedding reception. It was a HUGE hit. In our case the bride and broom had no budget with which to work. In fact, the cookies were in place of a wedding cake. We solicited the help of friends and coworkers who each contributed cookies using their favorite recipe(s). We arranged the huge variety of cookies on lovely platters. The variety made for a spectacular presentation. And, the male guests seems to really enjoy the bar cookies. Again, I understand you are looking for professional-looking cookie recipes -- I just want to encourage you to not necessarily limit yourself in your selection of recipes.

Here are a few more ideas.

(1) AJ in MD posted some wonderful ideas for Wedding Cookies (click here) on the Recipe Link Party Board on 1-9-2005. I suggest you check out her post.

(2) Also, is you use the Recipe Link and search for “wedding cookies” you will find some very nice recipes already posted for Mexican Wedding Cookies, Italian Wedding Cookies, and more.

(3) Here at the Recipe Link we have the daily board where folks post recipes according to a particular subject. The week of November 10, 1997 the topic was Holiday Cookie Exchange: SHAPED COOKIES (click here). I think some of these recipes would be wonderful for a wedding presentation.
