First, congrats Cory on a new home and a new baby. Here are some ideas you might want to consider for your housewarming.
I WON'T TELL WHAT'S IN IT IF YOU WON'T VEGETABLE DIP "Everyone seems to really like this dip. And unless you tell them, they can't quite figure out why it is so good."
1 pint sour cream 1 envelope "Good Seasons" Italian salad dressing mix (dry) 1 can white tuna, drained and flaked
In bowl, combine ingredients. Mix well. Cover and chill overnight. Serve with fresh vegetables.
CASA FIESTA DIP
1 can refried beans 1 pint sour cream 1 envelope taco seasoning mix 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, well drained 1/2 cup green onions, thinly sliced 1 small can sliced black olives 2 cups Mexican blend cheese, shredded
In a deep dish pie pan or quiche dish, spread refried beans. In small bowl, combine sour cream and taco seasoning mix. Spread over refried beans. Top with drained tomatoes, green onions and black olives. Sprinkle with cheese. Microwave at 5 minutes intervals until cheese is melted and mixture is bubbly. (Can be made a day ahead and microwaved prior to serving.) Serve with tortilla chips.
