OLD FASHIONED PORK CHOP VEGGIE SOUP 2-4 Pork Chops,cut in cubes (depends on number to eat) 1 quart water 1 bay leaf 5 peppercorns 3 carrots, sliced 2 stalks celery 1 med. onion 1 can tomatoes salt to taste 1/4 t. marjoram 1/4 t. thyme potatoes are optional. Cover pork chops with water and heat to boiling. Add Bay leaf & peppercorns.Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.or until meat is fork tender. Cool to skim fat off. Add rest of ingredients. Heat to boiling. Cook until carrots are tender.Makes 8 serving of 1 cup each.
