Cream Puffs 1 cup boiling water 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 cup flour 1 tsp salt 4 eggs Melt butter in boiling water. Remove from heat. Add flour and salt one at a time. stir over medium heat until forms a ball that doues not separate. Let cool slightly. Add eggs, one at a time, beating hard after each. (Dough will become very sticky). Drop tsp size amounts onto cookie sheets ad bak at 325 for about 30 min or 450 for about 15 min until golden brown. Hint: leave oven door slightly ajar by trapping a wooden spoon and the puffs will not fall after baking. Allow to cool before filling. Filling: Prepare 2 packages Jello instant vanilla pudding using half the milk called for and when set, mix in Cool Whip to taste. |
