Recipe(tried): Hush Puppies

Misc.

Angela, My favorite hush puppie recipe is one my Mom got from an old fisherman in Georgia. Very simple! Nowadays I don't deep fry them but cook them in a little oil in a non stick pan. They are flat but still taste good!

Hush Puppies:
self rising cornmeal (1 to 2 cups)
chopped onion (enough to make a difference)
buttermilk (enough to make a thick batter) Mix and fry.

This is the only recipe I have with no real measurements. Try them!
