Hi, I promised this recipe to the Chat this afternoon.

Sourdough Bread (bread machine)

2 1/4 C flour (King Arthur for Bread Machine)
1/2 C Starter
5/8 c milk,
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp butter or shortening

Load in order from machine instructions.

Sourdough Starter

1 pkg yeast
2 c water
2 c flour

Mix well and set out uncovered for at least 2 days in large glass or crock bowl. refresh after use and store in refrig.

Great bread that slices well.
