1/4 cup rice (do not wash)
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 qt. milk
pinch of salt


Stir together in a casserole dish
and bake in 350 degree oven for 2
hours. Pudding should be set and
slightly browned on top. Stir every
thing 10 to 15 minutes during first
hour and ahalf of baking time. The
pudding thickens as it cools.
