Susie - I hope this is the recipe you are looking for! This was given to me several years ago by a friend, and I believe it is a pretty old recipe.

TUPPERWARE SUGAR COOKIES (GRANNY'S SUGAR COOKIES)

Cream together:
1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar

Blend in:
1 medium egg

Sift together and add to mixture:
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 cups sifted flour

Blend into mixture:
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cut with Tupperware cookie cutters and bake on lightly greased cookie sheet in 400degree F preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes.

For extra sparkle and color, glaze your cookies using this simple recipe:
Blend together 3/4 cup sifted confectioner's sugar and 3-4 tsp. water. Follow package directions on food coloring to attain desired color.

While cookies are still warm, brush with glaze.
