Dear Kare,
We were making chicken cacciatora
this weekend and needed mushrooms.
What we ended up with were these
lovely, monsterous portabellos
or 1 to be exact.
It may seem odd, but adding them
in place of old reliable white
mushrooms to a dish is great!!!!!
They add a certain "zing" that
cannot be described. Anyway, it's
another way to use these lovely
monsters.
Yes, they're great on their own,
but sometimes it's fun experimenting
to see what else they're good with.
