Hello all, I thought it would be fun to start a thread to share cooking-related tips and info. We probably know a lot of the same 'tricks', but they're worth repeating in hopes of finding those that will make us say: WHAT A GREAT IDEA!! Here are a couple to start: - For great no-bake Strawberry Shortcake get the biscuits at your local fried chicken franchaise - they're made fresh all day. Great to pick up on the way to a picnic or on the way home from work for a quick dessert. (I learned this from a neighbor and friend years ago.) - Storing your jello and pudding boxes and seasoning mix envelopes in large zipper-locked plastic bags keeps them from travelling all over the cupboards. The gallon size plastic bags are good for holding plastic bowl lids too. I'm looking forward to hearing from you... Betsy
