I have two requests, but I suspect both have a sour cream/mayo base and I don't know the proportions. There are two deli's here that serve these awesome recipes and I cannot seem to duplicate their taste. The red potato salad has dill and green pepper and some green onion, I think. But the base, or dressing is absolutely wonderful. Same with the chicken salad, which seems to have the same creamy base - sans the dill, lots of white meat, celery, and I can't figure out what else. HELP! Requests to both places have simply been met with "Yeah, right!" |
