To wash small items in the dishwasher (like toys, jar
lids, small gadgets, whatever is dishwasher-safe),
I put them in a mesh lingerie bag with a zipper
.
to sort dry beans, put them in a gallon plastic bag,
cut a hole in the corner *smaller* than the bean and
shake and knead them with the corner with the hole
pointing down. Any small stones or unwanted debris
should fall out of the hole.
.
to mix meatloaf or use your hands for whatever you
may not want to touch or spread around (meat grosses
me out, for example), slip your hands into plastic
sandwich sized baggies, do your thing, then slide
them off into the trash when done. I also keep these
nearby to slip into when working with poultry and
want to turn the water on or something like that ..
much easier to get on and off than gloves
.
This is a fun idea .. look forward to reading more :)
.
Janet
