I'm not a caterer, so I can't "justify" my addiction! In fact, I'm a lawyer, and one of the neat ways I got to "feed" my addiction happened several years ago.

I was hired by the executor of a woman who had been in the Air Force, and had traveled all around the world. She had cookbooks which dated back to the '40's, and they were from all over the world too. Fortunately for me, whose econd language is legalese) they were all in English with American measurements.

No one in the estate wanted them, so I bought them from the heirs (for more than the agreed-upon price, lest any other lawyers be lurking around this post!) and have had a great time reading & cooking thru other cultures. It was quite a find.
