I think I got this recipe from a Velveeta ad. It's delicious and absolutely my very favorite! Hope you enjoy it as well. 20 min prep, 20 min baking
Ingredients: 2 cups chopped cooked chicken or turkey 1 cup chopped green pepper (I usually omit because of kids) 1 jar (8 oz) picante sauce, divided 1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed 8 flour tortillas (6 inch) 3/4 lb Velveeta, cubed ¼ cup milk
Method: Stir chicken, green pepper, ½ cup picante sauce and cream cheese in saucepan over low heat until smooth. Spoon 1/3 cup chicken mixture onto warm tortilla; roll up. Place seam side down in lightly greased 12 x 8 baking dish. Stir cheese spread and milk in saucepan over low heat until smooth. Pour sauce over tortillas; cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or until thoroughly heated. Pour remaining picante over tortillas. Yield: 4-6 servings.
