Here's a recipe from The Best of Bisquick (1983). Just so happens to be on the desk to be inputted (sp?) in the computer today.

Chewy Granola Bars
1½ cups Bisquick baking mix
1½ cups quick-cooking oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup margarine or butter, softened
1 egg
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips, raisins or chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350°. Mix all ingredients except chocolate chips with a fork until moistened (mixture will be crumbly). Stir in chocolate chips. Press mixture evenly into ungreased rectangular pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Bake until center is st, about 15 to 17 minutes. Cut into bars, about 3 x 1½ inches, while warm. Makes 27 bars.
