TEXAS CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE
2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 stick margarine 1/2 c. oil 4 Tbsp. cocoa 1 c. water 1/2 c. milk 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla
Icing: 1 stick (1/2 c.) margarine 4 Tbsp. cocoa 1 c. nuts (optional) 1/3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 1 box (1 lb.) confectioners sugar
Combine sugar and flour in a bowl. In pan bring marga- rine, oil, cocoa and water to boil; pour into sugar-flour mixture and stir. Add milk, soda and vanilla. Bake in well greased 11 x 17-inch cake pan at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Frost with icing. Icing: Combine margarine, cocoa, nuts, milk, vanilla and sugar in a saucepan; cook over low heat until melted and mixed. Spread on hot cake.
