I'll keep looking through some other cookbooks -- found a version for a sweet cake-type rice torte in the first cookbook I looked in -- With the Grain. It calls for milk, sugar, rice, lemon peel, (7) eggs, chopped pecans, chopped prunes, candied citron or sun-dried mangoes, butter and bread crumbs.
