For the church bakesale you should try the cappuccino muffins posted a few days ago. I made them on Friday night and I must say they are fabulous. Next time I personally would leave out the cinnamon and add 3 - 4 tsp of espresso powder (that's because I am a real coffee addict and don't particularly like the taste of cinnamon with my coffee. But there are great just as the were initially described.

For the fourth grade graduation you could try chocolate chip cookies on a stick. cupcake dirt cups (bake cupcakes in paper cups leaving room to place crushed oreo cookies on top. Then get some gummi worms and spiders and place them on tip and partially sticking out of the cookie crumbs. You an also add some plastic flowers or umbrellas.)

You could also make Aquariums: Prepare blue jello as directed. Pour into clear plastic glasses and refrigerate until partially set (about 1 hour). Once they are partially set insert gummi fish into the Jello. Set until firm. There you have it, the kids can now eat their aquariums.

You could also make soft pretzels. There's an easy looking recipe posted by Patty on 5/8/97 that could probably be used.

Good luck. If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

Debbie
