I inherited my husband's aunt's recipe box last summer and this is one of hers. She was such a wonderful person and an absolutely fanstastic cook. I want to share it with you as her birthday approaches.

PUMPKIN CRUNCH

1 can, l lb 13 oz, pumpkin
1 can, 13 oz, evaporated milk
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 c sugar

1 box yellow cake mix
1 c chopped nuts
1 stick butter,melted

Blend together all ingredients except last three. pour mixture into a 13x9 pan. sprinkle evenly with the cake mix and nuts. drizzle the melted butter over the top. bake at 350 for 50 min. serve with whipped cream or scoops of ice cream.
