Nutmeg amount is 1/2 teaspoon, not 1 1/2. Here's the recipe again.

Old--Fashioned Cream Pie
1 (9--inch) unbaked pie crust
3 heaping tablespoons flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups milk
Lump of butter
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Mix together white sugar and flour. Add brown sugar, egg and milk; stir in nutmeg. Pour into pie crust and dot with butter. Bake at 325 degrees until light brown and smells done.
