Anadama Bread (ABM) . for 1 1/2 lb. loaf . 1 1/4 c. milk, scalded 1 c. cornmeal 1/4 c. veg. oil 1/3 c. molasses 1 1/2 t. salt 2/3 c. whole-wheat flour 2 c. bread flour 2 1/2 t. yeast . Add the cornmeal to the hot milk. Let sit until mixture reaches room temperature. Add all the ingredients to the bread pan and bake according to manufacturer's instructions. . . I think letting the cornmeal sit in the hot milk is an important step missing in the previous ABM recipe I posted. I don't have an ABM so I can't test it. . Good luck, Janet |
