This is not a recipe for Salted Nut Rolls but it is a snack idea that I use for the upcoming Halloween season that to me has a very similar taste to the Salted Nut Roll. I think your family will like it too. All I do is mix Halloween Candy Corn with salted peanuts and put in a candy dish or decorative bowl. Can't get any easier than that.
