For years I have used sweetened sour cream on berries and fruit salads. I whip the sour cream till it is smooth and creamy. I add sugar to taste and a couple of teaspoons of Rose's lime juice (sweetened). I whip it to blend the sugar, cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.
This is great on fresh or frozen fruits, fruit pies, etc. Also great for dipping strawberries. The combination of flavor is wonderful.
